What time does service start?
On Sunday, our Traditional service starts at 8:30am. Our Connection Groups begin at 9:45am and our Seeker’s Service kicks off at 10:50am. Shield of Faith Sunday School begins at 1:30pm and Shield of Faith Worship begins at 2:00pm. We meet again at 5:45pm for our Equip Classes.
On Wednesday, our children’s and student’s activities begin at 6:45pm.
What are the worship celebrations like?
It depends on which worship celebration you choose! If you show up at the Seekers' Celebration at 10:50 AM on Sundays, you'll hear a life-centered message along with videos and newer, high-energy songs with bass, drums, guitars, and keyboards. In the Traditional Service at 8:30 AM, you'll hear the same message but with hymns, usually accompanied by piano and organ.
Shield of Faith, at 2:00 PM, is another experience completely, focused on meeting the unique needs of Native Americans.
What do I do with my children?
When you arrive at FBCRH, enter through the Welcome Center. Usually, there will be a friendly person behind the desk to guide you to the correct location---unless, of course, they're helping someone else! If no one happens to be at the welcome desk, go to the end of the hall and turn right. As you proceed down the hall, you will find opportunities for every age group.
Sunday mornings: For preschoolers, complete child-care is always provided during Connection Groups at 9:45 AM and during Seekers' Celebration at 10:50 AM. For elementary-aged children, there are Connection Groups at 9:45 AM as well as Children's Church at 10:50 AM. Connection Groups are also offered at 9:45 AM for middle-schoolers, high-schoolers, and adults. Middle-schoolers and high-schoolers meet upstairs in the Family Life Center and in the Student Ministry Center, on the east end of the facility. Adults meet downstairs in the Family Life Center and in the central wing of the church, near the Welcome Center. Youth and adults worship together during both worship celebrations.
Wednesday evenings: For preschoolers and children, there's JAMM---that stands for Jesus and Music & Me!---in the east part of the church's facility. The Student Worship Service for middle-schoolers and high-schoolers gathers in the Student Center.
